Returning Items with a Receipt

  • Within 60-days of purchase, an item may be returned by mail if it is in original condition.
  • Returns may also be returned to World Market Stores.
  • Refunds will be issued in the form of original payment, cash for cash, etc.
  • Gift returns will be issued a store credit unless it is the original purchaser.
  • Any returns to the World Market stores after the 60-day purchase period will be issued a store credit.
  • Mail returns after the 60-day purchase period will be handled by contacting World Market customer service representatives.

Returning Items Without a Receipt

  • Orders returned by mail must include a name, order number and address, or they cannot be processed.
  • A store credit of the lowest selling price within the last 90-days will be issued for merchandise in its original condition. Exceptions to the store credit without a receipt include: Bedding, jewelry and accessories, window coverings, framed art, knobs and hooks, shower curtains and slip covers.

Return Exceptions

  • ‘Online Only’ items cannot be returned to a World Market store. The details for returns are printed out with an order. The customer must ship the order (prepaid and insured) to World Market returns department.
  • World Market customer care will work to refund all shipping expenses on returns with manufacturers defects or shipping errors. Non-refundable shipping charges apply to all other returns.
  • Unless an item is damaged or defective, gift-wrapping fees are non-refundable.
  • Gift cards cannot be returned.
  • World Market retail store purchases cannot be returned by mail. They must be returned to the store.
