This is why customers are able to return any merchandise purchased online within 60 days of shipment for size, fit or style reasons provided that it hasn’t been washed, worn or damaged. Timberland even provides a pre-paid shipping label on its website to ensure that returns are completely free.

Timberland can also issue refunds for products that are damaged during shipping or prove to be defective. Customers must contact Timberland’s customer service team within 10 days of the shipment with the order, item and tracking numbers to receive a refund or a replacement. Defective merchandise is covered under Timberland’s warranty and can be replaced even after the usual 60-day return period. Nearly all Timberland merchandise can be returned, but there are some exceptions. Sales on gift cards, gift certificates and final clearance items are considered final, as are custom footwear orders.
