Seagate has a return policy that allows returns within 30 days from the date that the product was shipped to the customer. Returns are only allowed for orders placed on their website and shipped to the United States.

A return order number is required to receive a refund. You must contact Seagate at 1-800-SEAGATE to obtain this number. The return order number is valid for 30 days after it is issued.

Products must be shipped back to Seagate in the original packaging or packaging which gives the shipped item the same amount of protection. The return order number will be definitively displayed on the outward portion of the container being retuned to them. Seagate reserves the right to refuse returns if the order number is not marked on the box. The customer is responsible for paying all shipping charges. Account credits will be issued within six to eight weeks after the product has been received by Seagate. Note that certain fees, such as advanced replacement charges and shipping or delivery charges for the original order are non refundable.

Orders for items that are in stock cannot be canceled once they’re submitted. The customer must follow Seagate’s regular return policy after the item is shipped to them. For items that are back ordered, it is possible to cancel the purchase by calling 1-800-SEAGATE.
