Consumers who purchase eTickets directly from Delta Airlines can usually receive a full refund if their travel plans change provided they cancel their reservation within one day of purchase. This affect domestic flights throughout the United States as well as flights to destinations in Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Consumers who bought their eTickets from a Delta Airlines counter can email their receipt number to Delta’s customer service department in order to receive their refund.
This refund policy does not apply to tickets bought through travel agencies or to paper tickets. Refund requests must be made by midnight the day after the ticket is purchased.
